Wahoo, 24 days to Christmas!! 20 days to welcome three of our kids to Aizu! Can’t wait to see them. Our first born will be here on boxing day – better late than never!
Breakfast, for me, was cereal that came in our shipment. It was soo good!!!
Our youngest got her UC application in – 3 hours before deadline, Nov 30th in California today. Good job baby!! Dave went for a bike ride but I decided not to go – I knew Lucy might need some help and she had some questions but she did it all herself.
Dinner was raw fish – we bought a selection of sashimi from the supermarket and ate our hearts out. Yummy! The two things I am not so fond of in their raw form is octopus and prawns…. I think Alex will have a ball running to the fish section and choosing sliced raw fish for lunch, dinner and snacks!
Did I ever mention that Aizu has loads of persimmon trees? They are everywhere, laden with fruits! Quite a few trees in the cemetery grounds. And yet, the cost for each persimmon fruit is still over a dollar each. Amazing. I wished i could just pick them up. However, they are not as sweet as the ones from Maianh’s mother’s house in Stocton. i missed them!!
Dave spent some time trying to reconfigure the router from our internet provider so we can connect more than two computers. It is just impossible to decipher the Japanese instructions; so that will ahve to wait til he can get the manuals translated. We ended up watching “The Devil Wore Prada”.
And now it is time for some ZZzzzzzs.
